Abstract
This proposal requests a grant to fund the design, build, and operation of the Canton Managed Security Programme - a Procur3-operated audit subsidy framework delivered over 7 months in three milestones. This grant delivers a Foundation-allocated subsidy covering up to 90% of audit costs for qualifying Canton projects, an open auditor whitelist with Canton-specific qualification criteria, and a complete operational framework (intake form, voting committee workflow, milestone tracking, and reporting templates) fully transferred to the Foundation at pilot end. The project culminates in measurable ecosystem participation — at least 20 applications submitted and 6 audits subsidised — establishing a Foundation-owned, reusable security programme framework that removes the audit cost barrier for institutional and DeFi teams deploying on Canton. ---
