Abstract
This proposal requests funding to build Ledger Snapshot (dpm ledger-snapshot), an open-source DPM component that adds named save and restore to a managed PostgreSQL-backed Canton Sandbox. The default dpm sandbox ledger is in memory and is lost on shutdown. With this DPM component, developers prepare a fixture once, save it, and restore that baseline between integration or upgrade runs. The component dumps and restores the persisted stores while Canton is stopped, so party IDs, package IDs, and the contract IDs active at save survive. It does not re-upload DARs or recreate contracts.
