Abstract
Teams bringing Ethereum applications to Canton either run Solidity unchanged on the EVM layer or rewrite in Daml, with no check that the rewrite behaves like the original. We will release an open-source tool (Apache-2.0) that writes idiomatic, CIP-0056-conformant Daml from a verified Solidity contract and produces parity evidence. That evidence is the contract's own tests running on Canton plus its recorded mainnet transactions replayed against the generated Daml with state compared after every call, delivered as a report a reviewer can read and a CI step that keeps it current. Both halves of the path already exist and are publicly documented (849/849 USDC values agree on replay, and 18/22 SDK Daml Scripts round-trip on a Canton sandbox). The grant funds the single tool, the idiomatic Daml target, parity on Canton itself, the release, and adoption by three independent teams.
