Abstract
Canton's token standards (CIP-0056, CIP-0112) cover transfer and settlement, but they don't specify the compliance controls regulated instruments need, such as per-holder freeze, send/receive eligibility and bounded admin-initiated transfers. Today each issuer builds these separately, and wallets and exchanges have no common interface to read them. This proposal defines them as an opt-in extension to CIP-0112, enforced on-ledger when each transaction is validated. It delivers a CIP specification, an audited reference implementation, a conformance suite, an SDK, a CLI and live issuer deployments, so the ecosystem integrates one compliance layer instead of one per issuer.
