Abstract
Failed or rejected Canton submissions never commit, so developers reconstruct the root cause by hand from an error code that covers many distinct causes. We will deliver a deterministic, community-extensible failure-classification engine, published as a DPM component, that returns a categorized root cause with ranked next checks at a measured precision, backed by an open knowledge base of decoders that any team can extend as data-only DPM components. Value: time-to-root-cause on covered failures moves from hours to minutes, every team stops re-learning the same rejections, and other tools (DPM components, CI runners) can call one measured classifier instead of reimplementing failure heuristics.
