Abstract

Obsidian Systems will build a complete Daml 3 training program — 24 new modules, 5 learning paths, capstone projects, certification exams, and 26 live coding videos — replacing the current Daml 2 curriculum that references removed APIs, deleted libraries, and deprecated tooling that no longer works. The program serves every developer persona the ecosystem needs to grow: newcomers to Daml, public chain developers entering Canton for the first time, experienced Daml 2 developers leveling up without repeating what they already know, and solution architects designing production systems on the Canton Network. Every milestone is validated through beta testing with real developers and cross-referenced against live Canton documentation, so the Foundation gets training infrastructure that's proven to work before it's accepted.

Live Code Engineering Medianew developers bounce off outdated content, public chain developers have no entry point, existing teams delay migration, and the ecosystem's growth is bottlenecked by a skills gap rather than a technology gap. Daml proficiency is the biggest limiting factor for increasing network participation.1,710,000
